Prakasam
The Ongole unit Established in the year 1980. The District office of Prakasam exist in Ongole. The main object of Ongole unit is to produce and procure Prakasam district seed requirements in both Kharif and Rabi Seasons. The Ongole unit used to cater the seed needs of Prakasam district during kharif and Rabi Seasons under subsidy and non- subsidy programmes. Seed distribution in the district through 56 mandals level seed distribution points i.e, 36 MGC, 20 Private Dealers,11 PACS, 2 MACS FPO’S and 1 MAO’S.
