Central Delta - 16 mandals Eastern Delta - 17 mandals Uplands - 18 mandals Tribal sub Plan -11 mandals Kharif normal area is 261716 Ha and out of which major crop paddy is covering 224459 Ha, Pulses like Black gram, Green gram & Bengal gram is covering 5980 Ha, Oil seed like sesamum, ground nuts, castor covers 400 Ha and commercial crops like sugar cane, cotton, chillies etc., covers 30877 Ha. Regarding Rabi normal area is 232607 Ha and out of which major crop paddy is covering 161932 Ha, Millets like Jowar, Bajra, Maize and Ragi covers 11964 Ha Pulses like Black gram, Green gram, Horse gram, Cowpea & Bengal gram is covering 41414 Ha, Oil seed like sesamum, ground nuts, sunflower covers 2858 Ha and commercial crops like sugar cane, cotton, chillies, Tobacco etc., covers 14439 Ha.

Introduction

Kakinada unit is established in the year 1991 and presently administrative office is running in the rented premises of Sri Sai Prameela Apartment, Nagamallithota Junction, NFCL Road ,Kakinada. Storage godown is running at Agrl Market Committee, Nadakuduru village , Karapa Mandal having 6623 sq ft on hired basis @ Rs. 5/- per Sq ft. This godown is 10 km away from Administrative office Kakinada.
